OUR THESIS: Ann Story is a legendary figure in Vermont history because of her character, her unique life experiences, and her role in the Revolutionary War.
RELATION TO THE THEME: Ann Story communicated the location of Tories in Vermont to her friends, the Green Mountain Boys. This led to their capture and delivery to Ticonderoga. Ann's Story also relates to this year's theme because her legend has been passed down through generations without much physical record.
